Our program

At Cuerny Kids, I offer a comprehensive childcare experience in a warm, nurturing in-home setting. I provide age-appropriate activities that include science, math, art, sensory exploration, and outdoor play. It is important to me that each child has the freedom to express themselves and explore the world around them in a fun, loving, and accepting environment.

Lessons

Cuerny Kids uses the Experience Learning Curriculum, a unique, research-based program that integrates 35 essential skills into engaging games and discovery projects. This cross-disciplinary approach supports children’s ongoing social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development. You can learn more about the curriculum here!

During Free Play, children are encouraged to explore toys, puzzles, art supplies, books, and instruments at their own pace. I also provide themed coloring sheets, manipulatives, and books to spark creativity and learning.

Circle Time is a teacher-led activity where we gather to read a book related to the weekly theme and dive deeper into our topic through discussion. During this time, we also practice shapes, numbers, letters, and reflect on our day so far!
